In this guide, I will walk you through the installation procedure to set up a Debian Trixie (13.2) system with a LUKS-encrypted LVM partition formatted with BTRFS, containing subvolumes @ for / and @home for /home. I will show you how to optimize BTRFS mount options, and configure Timeshift to automatically take system snapshots.
